Research and Teaching
My teaching interests focus upon public sector budgeting, in particular the interaction between political and cultural forces on taxing and resource allocation. I teach the Public Sector Budgeting and Finance class on a regular basis and recently began to teach a course in Public Sector Ethics. My research interests have largely focused on budgeting and economic development. I am currently engaged in writing a book on responsible governance focusing upon the nexus between ethical public sector behavior and governance.
